We ship worldwide (with a few exceptions). 

Our products are shipped from Stuttgart, Germany.

SHIPPING ZONES
We ship across Europe (including the UK) and internationally to most countries.
If your country is not available at checkout, please email help@areweoblivious.com, and we’ll do our best to assist.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES (outside the EU)
Depending on the type and value of your order, customs duties and taxes may apply.
We ship all orders without prior customs clearance – any import fees must be paid directly by you to your local customs office.
If these charges are refused, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds.

COURIER
We ship via DHL / Deutsche Post and trusted international partners.

SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY TIMES
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination and will be displayed at checkout.
Delivery times depend on the country and selected shipping method.

RESTRICTIONS
We cannot deliver to PO boxes or parcel stations at this time.
Some regions may be excluded from shipping.

Pre-Order Shipping

Estimated delivery times for pre-orders are shown on each product page.
Embroidered models usually ship within 3–4 weeks; all other pre-orders within 10–14 days, unless otherwise noted.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

You can return items within 14 days of receiving your order.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with their original tags attached.
Returns sent without prior notice or outside the 14-day period cannot be accepted.

All return shipping costs are covered by the customer, regardless of the item or destination.
Please use a trackable, insured service — the return process begins once your parcel has arrived and been inspected.
After approval, we’ll refund the item value using the same payment method you used for your purchase.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

One exchange is free within Germany.
For additional exchanges or for orders placed outside Germany, the customer covers the shipping cost.
Items that are damaged, worn, or soiled cannot be refunded or exchanged.
We reserve the right to refuse returns with a strong perfume scent or to deduct the cost of cleaning from any refund.

Please note:
If returned items are worn, soiled, or damaged, we reserve the right to reduce the refund based on loss of value or to refuse the return entirely if the item is no longer resaleable.
This also applies within the legal right of cancellation. In such cases, we may charge a reasonable processing or cleaning fee if additional effort or costs arise due to use or contamination.

REFUNDS

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll refund the item value using the same payment method used for your purchase.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
We may withhold the refund until we’ve received the goods back or you’ve provided proof of shipment.
Refunds are usually processed within 10 business days after we receive your return.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel before your order has been shipped or produced, please contact us immediately.
Cancellations are only possible upon prior agreement.
Depending on the production or processing stage, proportionate material or labor costs may apply.

CUSTOM ORDERS & PRE-ORDERS

Custom / Made-to-Order
Products customized or made specifically for you — e.g. changes to color, embroidery, print, fit, or design — are considered bespoke pieces.
These items are excluded from returns and exchanges, as they are made to your specifications and not suitable for resale.
Cancellations are only possible upon prior agreement; depending on the stage of work, proportionate costs may apply.

Pre-Orders
Pre-ordered items can generally be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery.
This does not apply to customized pre-orders or embroidered models ordered as pre-orders — these are excluded from cancellation as they are made especially for you.
An exchange is possible for embroidered models.

CANCELLATION POLICY (Right of Withdrawal)

The statutory right of cancellation applies only to consumers residing within the European Union.
Customers residing outside the EU are not entitled to this statutory right of cancellation.

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period begins on the day you — or a person designated by you — receive the goods.
To cancel, simply email us at info@areweoblivious.com. You may use our sample form, but it’s not required.
Please return the goods within 14 days after notifying us of your cancellation.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds for Right of Withdrawal cancellations
Once the cancelled goods have been received and inspected, we’ll refund the item value using the same payment method used for your original purchase.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
We may withhold the refund until we’ve received the goods back or you’ve provided proof of shipment.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days after receiving the goods or receiving proof of return (statutory deadline).
